About Me.
I am a design practitioner with over 17 years of experience, specialising in integrating human-centred design with sustainable and ethical solutions for emerging technologies. My background includes leadership in service design, design operations, and strategic design, focusing on AI governance, design ethics, and human-centred problem-solving. I have led multidisciplinary teams, managed complex projects, and coordinated efforts across diverse disciplines and organisational functions. Throughout my career, I have built a strong foundation in addressing real-world design challenges and embedding ethical decision-making into the design process.
I collaborate with organisations to align design initiatives with evolving ethical standards, systems thinking, and long-term sustainability—creating value beyond traditional metrics. By offering tailored insights into service design, design operations, and human-centred design, I support teams and leaders in navigating the complexities of modern design.
I am also pursuing a PhD with the Open University Engineering and Innovation (STEM), where I research the location of ethics in design practice. My academic work aims to advance the dialogue on responsible design and provide actionable insights for industry practitioners.
In addition to my professional work, I actively engage in academic and community initiatives. I volunteer as a student representative and serve on the STEM Academic Committee and the Senate. These roles allow me to advocate for student interests and contribute to the development of my peers.
I am available to mentor, coach, and provide career guidance in design. I'm also open to opportunities for presentations, panel discussions, co-authoring, and other collaborative opportunities.
